Leading University of Queensland probiotic drink, PERKii, has announced a partnership with Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA).
The homegrown innovation has added its support to help SLSA in its mission to save lives and build better communities.
“SLSA’s drive to save, create and build better Australian lives mirrors our own values of innovation, health and inclusiveness, so the opportunity to support was one we have been working towards for some time” said PERKii CEO Matt Kowal.
“As an Australian start-up focused on improved health outcomes, we’ve worked really hard to build a great product for all Australians, available for all Australians,” said Kowal.
“We’re proud of that effort, and now want to show support for SLSA, supporting the incredible work on Australia waterways, and within local communities.”
Using their own drive for awareness around nutrition and its positive effects on Australian physical and mental wellbeing, PERKii will be championing SLSA throughout 2019/2020 through their media channels, at events and most excitingly, with a range of SLSA probiotic drinks.
Launching early 2020, PERKii will release two SLSA branded flavours, Tropical Splash and Forest Berry, across major retailers such as Coles, Woolworths, Coles Express, Caltex and restaurant chain Zambreros, raising funds with every bottle sold.

Surf Life Saving Australia is a not-for-profit community made up entirely of incredible volunteers who strive to make Australian beaches and coastlines safe for everyone to enjoy in summer and throughout the year. PERKii hopes these initiatives can raise awareness and funds for the
hard-working surf lifesaving community.
