Perry’s Fuel Distribution has re-opened its Shell Port Pirie site with a fresh new feel, following a lengthy building process.
The revamped site on Ellen Street is Perry’s tenth store to be rebuilt or renovated over the past five years. Working closely with designers, the team has developed a look and feel that is modern and spacious with links to its heritage in the local area.
“Set in a prominent location, right in the heart of the Port Pirie town centre, the revamped Ellen Street store not only offers convenience to motorists, but serves as the local coffee shop, lunch spot or convenience store,” said a Perry’s Fuel Distribution spokesperson.
Support from United Convenience Buyers (UCB) and other national suppliers helped develop floorplans for best efficiency and layouts to enhance category sales and meet the needs of the local community.
Belinda Jones from UCB say they have enjoyed a long-term relationship with Karen and the team at LH Perry, assisting them with making strategic decisions specific to their business.
“Watching the growth in recent years and assisting where we can is what we pride ourselves on,” said Jones.
A welcome addition to the site is its barista coffee, which has launched under Perry’s own café brand ‘Relax and Refuel’, and a focus on a ‘fresh daily’ internal food offering with a wide selection of fresh foods.
Alongside the café and fresh food offer, the site features frozen ready-to-heat meals, a built-in frozen Coke machine, multi-hose pumps, a night service window for added protection and security of staff, and outdoor promotional screen showcasing specials in-store, and modern and clean bathrooms fitted with a baby change table.
“We’re looking to give our customers an unmatched customer experience, with high quality products, and a consistently competitive convenience offer,” said the Perry’s spokesperson.
