Petrol prices in Sydney have hit their lowest in over a year and a half.
According to Ten News, E10 fuel has dropped below one dollar per litre, but warned these prices will not last.
The owner of an independent petrol station in Peakhurt Sam Henein told Ten News there was less margin but he was looking out for the customer.
Peter Khoury from the NRMA said: “The falls have continued, they have stayed low, the average price in Sydney is $1.13.”
Ten News reporter Kimberley Soekov said prices are now at a 16month low.
Customers are encouraged to download fuel pricing apps and check fuel prices online, to ensure they get the best deals.
