UK meat-free brand Quorn has launched a new convenience range of Australian-made Frozen Ready Meals, alongside a healthy, meat-free burger alternative Crunchy Chicken Fillet Burger.
Available in Woolworths, the Frozen Ready Meals range includes three vegetarian options: Thai Style Green Curry & Rice, Spaghetti Bolognese and Butter Chicken Style Curry & Rice.
Made locally in Australia with Quorn Mince and Quorn Pieces, the range provides a healthy alternative with 3-4 health star rating, no added preservatives, colours, or flavours and is a good source of protein and dietary fibre.
Jaimie Gardner, Senior Brand Manager at Quorn, says the new launches are a testament to Quorn’s commitment to the planet and caters to the growing demand for nutritious, convenient ready-made meals, a fast-growing market which is projected to be valued at $1.58 billion by 2024.
“We are thrilled to unleash our latest line-up, expanding our range of meat-free meal options so consumers can enjoy more of their favourite dishes, meat-free,” said Gardner.
“The demand for convenient and meat-free meals has been growing, so we’ve responded with these four delicious and healthy additions that bring variety and fun into meat-free eating.
“The Quorn Crunchy Chicken Fillet Burger delivers a healthy, meat-free burger alternative that consumers can enjoy in the comfort of their home. Packed full of flavour and crunch, it will convert fans of the classic crunchy chicken burger.
“With 42 percent of Australia’s population working to reduce their meat intake, Quorn’s latest additions mean shoppers can now select from even more healthy, sustainable, meat-free and convenient meal options.”
Quorn’s new range of Frozen Ready Meals and Crunchy Chicken Fillet Burger are now available in the frozen section at Woolworths stores.
The new products join Quorn’s extensive range of meat-free mince, pieces, fillets, and nuggets that are already on shelves at Coles, IGA, Drakes and FoodWorks stores nationwide.
