Australian confectioner Robern Menz has introduced Violet Crumble – Nuggets, building on the success of the iconic brand. The range features small bite-sized pieces which are ready to go in 135g bags.
Violet Crumble returned with much fanfare to Australian soil in 2018, when Adelaide-based Robern Menz purchased the brand from Nestle. The 50g version of the chocolate bar, first created in 1913, has seen an enthusiastic reception from chocolate-lovers, as Robern Menz has channelled significant resources into wide national distribution including independent, variety and convenience stores. Earlier in 2019, the bar began its journey stateside, and is now sold throughout multiple retailers in the US.
Robern Menz CEO Phil Sims said it has been a pleasure to bring Violet Crumble back to Australia: “We love introducing new formats of products, to appeal to consumers for different occasions and reasons.”
“It’s exciting to be in a position to offer chocolate-fans different ways to enjoy Violet Crumble and we look forward to seeing how Nuggets is received,” said Sims.
The new 135g bag of Violet Crumble ‘Nuggets’ will be available nationally through independent grocery and convenience channels as well as Caltex nationally with a RRP of $4.99.
