A new SPAR Express store has opened in Blayney, New South Wales, providing local residents with an expanded grocery option.
The store officially commenced operations in late December 2024, but a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held recently and attended by local MP Bruce Reynolds, Deputy MP Rebecca Scott, SPAR Australia Managing Director Lou Jardin, and former SPAR Australia Chairman Miles Hedge.
Gurinder Singh Gosal, Owner of the new SPAR Express, who lives in Bathurst with his family, expressed enthusiasm about the new venture.
“With a passion for retail and a deep commitment to our community, I’m excited to offer Blayney residents a fresh, convenient shopping experience,” he said.
The store offers a range of groceries, dairy, and frozen foods at competitive prices, with extended trading hours to suit customers’ schedules. Gosal emphasised customer service as a priority, stating, “Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. Our team is eager to deliver a top-tier shopping experience every day.”

Beyond retail, Gosal is committed to supporting the local community.
“We’re passionate about supporting local schools, sponsoring sports teams, donating to food banks, and hosting charity events,” he said. “We believe in fostering community growth and well-being, and we’re excited to contribute positively to Blayney’s development.”
The new store, located at 105 Adelaide Street, operates seven days a week. It joins SPAR’s global network of over 13,900 stores across 48 countries, serving more than 14.7 million customers daily.
