Baiada Poultry is conducting a recall of Steggles Frozen Turkey Breast Roast 1kg due to a batch being incorrectly packaged.
The packaging oversight has resulted in the presence of undeclared allergens including gluten, sulphites and tree nuts.
The affected batch has a Best Before date of 29 June 2022 and has been for sale at Coles in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania.
They have also been on the shelves of independent food retailers including IGA in the Northern Territory, South Australia and Tasmania.
Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ), said: “Consumers who have a gluten, sulphites or tree nut allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Mine has use by October 2021 is this ok
Mine has a use by date of 11 February 2022 is this ok
My turkey has used by date of 13th July 2022. Is this OK.
The only ones that have been recalled are the ones with a best before date of 29 June, 2022.
