Retail expert Karim Sumar has been announced as the new director for the company Stock Box, a B2B product sampling service.
Stock Box founder Craig Matthews said he was very excited to have Karim on board.
“Karim’s experience speaks for itself, and we share the same passion and interest in raising the profile and importance of independents, not just within the channels we currently operate in, but for all of the vertical channels that we plan to operate, in the future,” he said.
“Our mission is to provide suppliers and manufacturers with a voice, and give retailers the choice on products that are right for their business.”
Mr Karim said Stock Box had great potential for linking retailers and suppliers.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to join Craig in making Stock Box the first port of call for all retailers and suppliers,” he said.
Karim joins the Stock Box team with over 30 years of retail experience across supermarket and convenience sectors.
He has also served on the Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) as chairman and non-executive director.
Stock Box is a B2B product sampling service designed to connect independent retailers to product partners.
