The Arnott’s Group has launched a new graduate program to grow local talent across Australia and New Zealand and to inspire a generation of future leaders.
Thousands of graduates applied for the coveted positions with 22 graduates eventually inducted into the inaugural program in Sydney.
Most graduates will be based in the headquarters at North Strathfield with some working across manufacturing sites at Huntingwood in Western Sydney, Virginia in Queensland, Shepparton in Victoria, and Auckland in New Zealand.
The program helps graduates to develop, build networks, and make an impact while working across The Arnott’s Group’s iconic portfolio of brands.
It is part of The Arnott’s Group’s growth strategy, which requires a significant investment in local talent and capability. It has been designed to provide recent graduates with a breadth of experience right across The Arnott’s Group’s business, from creating new biscuit flavours, executing growth strategies through to driving sustainability initiatives.
“We are delighted about the caliber of the talent we were able to attract with graduate rates declining due to the impacts of the pandemic,” said George Zoghbi, CEO, The Arnott’s Group.
“We are excited about nurturing new talents and providing them with valuable experience working with some of Australia’s most iconic brands.”
Maggie Pan is a part of the 2021 graduate program and she said she chose to be a part of it as she wanted to work for an organisation that was “future focused”.
“In 2020, Arnott’s changed ownership, and with that, the strategic focus of the business also changed. Expansion and innovation were highlighted as key changes. This really excited me, as I knew that I wanted to work for an organisation that is proactive in change and constantly evolving.”
