Forget chips, Smith’s have given us a new way to enjoy potato snacks.
Their latest creation, Poppables, are bite-sized discs that are light, airy and crispy.
They’re available in two flavours, Sweet Chilli and Sour Cream and Cheddar Cheese and are available in Coles now and will be stocked in Woolworths, Independent supermarkets and petrol/convenience stores by the end of February. They are available in 35g and 90g packets and RRP is $3.49 per 90g.
Smith’s marketing manager Lynn Rutherford said the company were excited to share the new product.
“We are excited to be launching a totally new product in the Smith’s range. Smith’s Poppables are made from potato so have that lovely potato taste and crunch, but are light and airy providing a different eating experience to regular potato chips,” she said.
“Smith’s Poppables are great for sharing with family or friends and will add a bit of playfulness and fun to any snacking occasion.”
The release follows some innovative NPDs for the brand, who also released Lamington flavoured chips in December.
