P&C’s number one brand of smart-phone accessories will donate a minimum of $10,000 to the McGrath Foundation to support its fight against breast cancer.
Available exclusively through BP retail outlets, the Walk n Talk range was co-developed with the foundation as the first tech accessory brand to partner with a major Australian charity.
Pacific Optics general manager sales Theo Foukkare said the exclusive range included the four best-selling SKUs in pink.
“[They have] been specially printed and pre-packed into a small counter / shelf solution to allow BP retailers to display along with the other great ‘pink’ products that McGrath has chosen to partner with for the next four weeks,” he said.
“Pacific Optics view the McGrath Foundation as one of the leading voices in providing support to families in times of need.
“Breast cancer is something that touches most Australian families at some point of their lives, either directly or indirectly.”
Mr Foukkare said that breast cancer has recently touched his family and friends giving him an appreciation for the hard work done by nurses like those in the McGrath Foundation.
Mr Foukkare said despite being the first time the brands had worked together, the team at the McGrath Foundation were great to work with.
“They are great communicators, provide fast approvals & made the entire process very easy,” he said.
“BP are a long term partner for Pacific Optics, and to be able to support their “pink” McGrath Foundation campaign in 2017 with Walk n Talk, is a great example of our joint commitment to great causes that make a difference to real people’s lives when they need it most.”
“The Walk n Talk brand is now 14 years young, is the brand that first created the Tech Accessories category in the Petrol & Convenience channel. As a brand, it continues to lead the way in product innovation, product quality, packaging and consumer satisfaction.”
